My name is Brian Litster.  I was born on October 10th, 1944 at 23 Eilton Street, Edinburgh and grew up at 26 Promenade, Portobello.  I have lived in California, U.S.A. since 1963

My mother [now dead] was Elizabeth Renton Litster.  My father ["John Hogg", I believe] Litster died in or about 1946 and, apparently, shortly after this a family rift occurred so that , other than a possible uncle by the name of Mathew Litster, I have no information about my father's side of my lineage.

My older sisters were Moyra Cristina and Dorothy Elizabeth [both now dead].

I would like to begin a search for the Litsters and would appreciate any guidance, information or assistance  that anyone might be able to offer.
