I hope there is someone on this forum who might have access to records which cannot be found online. I am researching the Conquer families. I have found 2 lines.

• One I have traced as far back as Robert Conquer Christened16/3/1812 in Morham, son of Charles Conquer & Margaret Allan. He ended up in Newbattle, Midlothian in the 1841 census then eventually in Glasgow.

• The second line are from Liberton, Midlothian and is prooved back as John Conquer born there in 1779 and died there 29/8/1873. The death cert. states he is the son of Robert Conquer & Elizabeth Stanhouse.

There are a lot of the same names like Robert in both lines and the name is fairly rare so fingers crossed on a breakthrough
