Would like to make contact with Simpson descendants from the Penicuik area of Midlothian to help fill in branches. Alexander Lockhart Simpson and Ann Smail Borrowman had at least 10 children; William, Annie, Mary, Janet, Jemima, Andrew, Alexander, Margaret Riddle, Joan, and Peter. Some other surnames connected would be Gray, Clapperton, Grant, Thomson, Henderson, Holmes, Hendry, and Jack. My wife descends from Alexander Lockhart Simpson's uncle John Simpson who lived in the Bonnyrigg area.
