Elizabeth Macdonald (nee Montgomery) b. 1797ish on Isle of Skye/Scalpay, married to Godfrey Macdonald, died 21 Feb 1858 in Dalkeith. Six known children: Murdoch (m. Elizabeth Macleod, and later Euphemia?), James William Macleod (m. Margaret Innes), John (m.?), Norman Hume (m. Johan Mackenzie Munro, emig to Australia 1854), Christina (m. John McQueen), and Alexander (m. Helen Dalziel).
